My name is Nena Soto and I have been part of the State Farm family since 1999. After 14 years of working with State Farm customers and building relationships I knew that my passion was educating and helping people protect themselves, their families, and their most valuable possessions, this inspired me to open the doors to my very own State Farm Agency in 2013. My family and I migrated from Guadalajara, Mexico and settled here in beautiful Whittier making this our forever home. I attended the local schools in the area, La Colima Elementary School, Granada Middle School, and California High School, who I still partner with today as a judge for Senior projects and a sponsor of their sports programs. I love being a part of and giving back to my community. I serve my community through non-profit organizations like the Women and Children Crisis Center, The Whole Child, and programs within the local schools and churches that provide low-income families with resources to help them succeed in school and in all aspects of life. I want to be known as a compassionate leader in my community, helping others in need and for supporting other local small business owners in the Whittier area.

I am also an advocate for wellness in our community. I help sponsor organizations that promote mental health and wellness for women, men, and kids. I believe that healthy families foster healthy communities. One of the groups I am a part of is the WOW group, “Women on Wellness.” Along with other community leaders, our mission is to empower women who might be facing challenging times or do not have the resources to commit to self-care. Collectively, we give nominated women a curated gifts of wellness. We believe that a woman who achieves and maintains their wellness can reach their fullest potential and thrive with confidence.

I have been married to my husband Fabio (who is also State Farm Agent) for16 years. We have four beautiful children that we raise here in the Historic area of Whittier, they all attend the local schools and participate in the local Girl Scouts, La Serna Wrestling, Friendly Hills Wrestling Club, performing arts programs and other community events. I am a busy Mom and Wife, but the independence and flexibility of being a State Farm Agent allows me to be there for my family as well as our customers.
